National Hobo Convention Events

Hobo Souvenirs

Hobo poetry, t-shirts, sweatshirts, cups, ceramic crocks, water bottles, refrigerator magnets, golf balls, golf towels, playing cards, thermoses and postcards are also available through the Chamber of Commerce or The Cobbler Shoppe.

Parade
Saturday at 10:00 a.m. everyone can let their hobo spirit soar as they participate in the parade. "Some in rags, some in tags, some in velvet gowns."

Whether you're part of this large grand parade, or a spectator, the spirit of the day is sure to capture your mood. Marching bands, queens, business floats, children, adults, and hobos all come down the streets in one long line and share the fun that only a Hobo Convention can provide. Following the parade, mulligan stew is available, for those willing to stand in line.

Other Events
Other events during the weekend include a 5K & 10K Walk/Run, Hobo King & Queen coronation, Hobo Museum, Hobo Auction, Hobo Memorial Service, Flea Market, Outdoor Classic Car Show, the Hobo Jungle is open to the public and various musical entertainment.
