Britt Chamber of Commerce

The Britt Chamber of Commerce is an organization comprised of more than 75 businesses and individuals collectively dedicated to promoting local business and publicizing the town of Britt to bring more business and industry to the area.

The Britt Chamber of Commerce holds a general business meeting quarterly and the board meets monthly with the exception of August, during the National Hobo Convention. The quarterly meetings are held in March, June, September and December.

Chamber members receive a monthly newsletter and have the ability to accept Britt Bucks.

Why Belong?

If you do business in Britt…you rely upon the growth and prosperity of Britt to make your business more profitable.  The Chamber is the organization dealing with the concerns in Britt and working for continued growth in the community.

If you are a small business….you realize the importance of making business contacts in the community.  A majority of Chamber members are small businesses.  By working together through the Chamber, we can bring more businesses, more residents, more tourists and more customers to Britt.

If you are too busy to be involved….you can benefit from the efforts of the Chamber to promote and insure growth in the community.

Even if your budget is tight….you will find Chamber membership will provide you with benefits from website exposure to networking and informational speakers.

Community development….economic development is a major concern of the Chamber.  We strive to facilitate growth of existing companies and to attract new businesses.

The Chamber office is an information center providing business, community and tourism information. The Britt Chamber of Commerce also has a large variety of souvenir items available for sale at the Cobbler Shoppe in Britt. Souvenir items include but are not limited to: t-shirts, sweatshirts, ceramic crocks, baskets, water bottles, golf balls, ceramic hobo figurines, playing cards, thermos, coffee cups, photo albums and more.
